Scopa (Italian for broom) is a traditional fishing card game played with a 40-card Italian deck divided into four suits: Denari (Coins), Coppe (Cups), Spade (Swords), and Bastoni (Clubs).

The Deal: Each player is dealt 3 cards, and 4 cards are placed face-up on the table.
Capturing: On your turn, play one card. If your card matches the face value of a table card, you must capture it. If no single card matches, you may capture a combination of table cards whose values sum up to your card (e.g., a 7 captures a 4 and a 3). Matching a single card is compulsory over a combination.
Trailing: If your card cannot capture, it is placed face-up on the table.
The Scopa (Sweep): If your capture clears the entire table, you score a Scopa (+1 point). The scoring card is turned face-up in your trick pile to track sweeps.

At the end of each round, points are calculated across five traditional scoring categories:
